Location

The airport is located 4km (2.5 miles) from Vasco da Gama to the northwest and 5km (3 miles) from Dabolim to the east. State capital Panaji is around 30km (19 miles) away to the north

Public Transport

By Road : Bus

Local buses, which are often very crowded and not very frequent, go to Chicalim and Vasco da Gama nearby.

Taxis:

Pre-paid taxis are available at the airport. The pre-paid taxi service counter is located outside the terminal building.

Rail:

The nearest train station is in Vasco da Gama.

A bank, currency exchange booths and post and telegraph services are available in the terminal building.

Shopping:

Duty-free shops selling liquor, cigarettes, perfumes, toiletries, electronic items, watches and much else are located in the international departures and arrivals areas. There is also a shop selling distilled water.

Eating and drinking:

Snack bars are available in both the international and the domestic terminal areas. A restaurant is also available in the domestic terminal.

Luggage:

The airport has free baggage trolleys for travellers navigating their way through the airport.

Other facilities:

A first aid room is available in the terminal building. Baby changing facilities are also available.
